Maintenance

What's this about?

Do you enjoy practical work and fixing things? Can you stay calm under pressure?

As a maintenance engineer you could be working in the front line of a factory diagnosing breakdown problems, ordering parts and fixing machines.

You could also be working out on a customer site, for example, fixing a customer’s security alarm system or ordering parts for a broken washing machine.

You are likely to be using computerised systems to fault find and oversee routine maintenance.

Maintenance engineers work in all fields of engineering.
