Welcome to the Royal Agriculture University's Lifepilot page
You are never too old or too young, age is no barrier to learning, it continues throughout life. In Higher Education maturity is often an advantage – mature students (over 21) embrace learning, bringing high levels of motivation to the classroom giving the “younger” element a run for their money – their life experience opens up different perspectives and so enhances teaching and learning for everyone.
Whatever your ambition, whether it is to develop or change career, study at university, or learn new skills we are here to help and guide you.
We are a specialist land-based university college based in Cirencester, in the heart of the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire. We cater for people interested in a career in the rural sector and offer a wide variety of degree level programmes ranging from Foundation to Masters in agriculture, land management, property agency and marketing, business management, food and equine subjects. We also run a suite of professional development short courses.
The University has a long tradition of learning, having been originally established in 1845 by local farmers wanting to ensure a specialist education for future generations on the land. Since then, we have provided a stimulating, unique and friendly learning environment aimed at developing and encouraging all our students to achieve their ambition.
Don’t take our word for it - talk to us, or even better, come and visit us … book a place on one of our regular Open Days, meet the staff, see the College and talk it over.
